As technologies evolve and increasingly advanced health care procedures and equipment become available, St. Joseph Health System is at the forefront of adopting the latest medical advancements.  We have brought industry-leading, cutting edge technology to the Northeast Michigan region, including the installation of a 64-slice Cardiac CT scanner and Digital Imaging System.  We were the first facility in Northeast Michigan to have this CT scanner and to perform Coronary CTAs on cardiac patients.  In addition, St. Joseph Health System offers Open-Bore MRI that has the typical magnet strength of 1.5T but is larger than a standard MRI unit.

In the past four years, St. Joseph Health System built a comprehensive rehabilitation center, a new 46,000 square foot Surgery and Cardiovascular Center, renovated its obstetrics department and completed a new state-of-the-art
C-section delivery room.
