Your Home. Your Dignity. Our Trusted Name
St. Joseph Hospice provides a special kind of care for patients with a life limiting illness and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for both the patient and the family unit. We offer physician directed methods of pain and symptom control, maintaining palliative (comfort care) rather than curative treatments.
Emphasis is placed on the importance of physical and emotional comfort for both the patient and their family, offering support in accepting the fragile nature of life, appreciating each day, and in offering love and companionship.
St. Joseph's Chaplain is available to support patients and families with spiritual needs including emotional support grief recovery and support groups.
Additionally, specially trained Hospice Volunteers are available to assist patients and families with respite care needs.
Accredited by Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, certified by Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the State of Michigan, St. Joseph Hospice is also a member of the National Hospice Palliative Care Organization.
