In the summer of 2005, St. Joseph Health System kicked off a $2.2 million capital campaign to support the addition of its new Surgery and Cardiovascular Center. Advancing from a 5,000 square-ft. surgical space to the new 26,000 square-ft. center allowed for 10 private preoperative rooms, 13 postoperative rooms, expanded operating suites and state-of-the-art surgical equipment. In addition, the former surgical space was renovated into a dedicated Endoscopy Suite.

The Campaign was successful in achieving 85% of its goal,raising more than $1.85 million.
